Aswang sa Philo Dept

It was the day for the subject enlistment at Ateneo de Naga University, I'd chosen almost 30 units roughly equivalent to 10 subjects, disregarding the zero-unit subject that is indispensable prior to graduation.

I came first so I was first in line to be advised and to have my subjects reserved and encoded.

"Whoa! whatta?! Why in the world are you taking 30 units, considering the curriculum puts the limit to 24 or so?" a Philo prof started berating.

"Well, I thought a student could take a maximum loads of 31 units?", I answered flatly.

"However, the curriculum is there to guide you. So if you think you are smarter than the curriculum then so be it!", the Professor continued.

"I, in my part, chose these subjects for my 2nd semester because I am certain I cannot just handle but can do well with these! Hang on! Are you doing the advisement?" said I feverishly.

"Oh no! Not necessarily, but--"

"There you go! So what are you meddling at my subjects for?" I interrupted.

And just in time, the professor in-charge came perhaps he overheared from our conversation.

"So, Mr. Patrick are you sure you can do with these subjects?" The prof in-charge began questioning.

"Of course!" I answered indignantly.

"Well, you sure is a first year. Tell you what, we are after quality here, not quantity. If you'll take my advise, I must say you drop two from your subject of choice and we shall continue with your enlisment," he explained as though selling me a unit from Avida House and Lot.

"Ahhhhmmm," I thought for a while. "Okay!", I sighed.

The Philo prof whom I had a bad exchange of words said nothing and smiled as he looked me in the eyes. I just avoided his eyes by darting mine to the computer where my subjects were being encoded. "You'll have a day with me and I sure am gonna get to skin you alive! Aswang!" I muttered under my breath".

Ang Pagbabalik!

I've been lost for a long while, never even thinking of viewing my blog!

Exams that cause my nose to bleed like there's no tommorow, Books that I went pressing my nose on, many pages of paper works to blame why every now and then my brain would twinge and hurt and extremely annoying activities deprived me of being back to my blogspot.

Bye for now..
