Being alone in the midst of uncertainties

"Maybe you'll grow happier and more matured outside."
-Fr. John Jeneval Palomar, OMI

Those were the few words that broke my heart and brought me into a state of confusion last April 16, 2008. The way I felt would not be that worse if my money were not lost a couple of hours before the disparaging words I heared from the mouth of Fr. Palomar. As a student seminarian, a 2 thousand pesos is really a big big amount of money, considering that a kind should live out the life of poverty. I got mad and felt like I was going crazy. Many questions came into my central nervous system thus making me act and think like a mad man on the roof. Well, just imagine that you had an extra money for your vices and light addictions and that you already made up your mind where to spend your extra wealth and then after a wind came blown by the heavy clouds , Alas! the money was already gone.
See, how crazy you will be if the same thing happens to you. And the worst of all was when I heard the breaking words uttered by the Father Superior in line with his decision to who will stay in the seminary and who will be advised to exit. It seemed like the day April 16, 2008 was the most unlucky day I've ever experienced in my whole life as a seminarian. However, it made me learn a lot of lessons that until now, I still carry with me.
